If you don't work in fashion or the arts, don't despair! We welcome anyone who loves places that are different and quirky, who enjoys good conversation, and has a healthy appetite for life.

4 0 W i N K S is special. It’s just like staying in a very exclusive boutique hotel, but without the staff, uniforms and room service (or the hefty price tag...).

4 0 W i N K S is not about gizmos and gadgets, but what it lacks in technology, it more than makes up for in atmosphere and ambiance. However, we do provide a few modest facilities to make your stay both easy and comfortable.


We also provide a selection of teas and coffee, which you can help yourselves to day or night, and can provide a full continental breakfast (muesli, fruit, toast and jams), but we do not offer lunch or dinner. There are hundreds of fantastic cafés and restaurants to discover all over East London. We will be happy to recommend one if you are stuck for somewhere to eat.
